Someone asked me where the picture on my post is from. It's a picture I took when I was in Germany a few years ago. It's taken on the balcany of the hotel I stayed at and I was out there drinking my tasse kaffe (cup of coffee) and reading my book and I thought "what a beautiful scene" so I snapped a picture with my ultra cheap throw away camera. I had fun in Germany but was a little affraid to use my German. Learning the language and speaking it are very different animals. I hope this answers some questions.

Take care.

Fuzzy Little Creatures

I'm terribly afraid of anything that has more than four legs.
With that being said, I found a centipede on my bedroom wall! Ick!
Those things travel fast (I think that's because they have, like, a zillion legs!) I remember the first time I saw a centipede. I was nine years old and I was laying on the living room floor about four feet from the TV watching some show when a two incher (trust me, I'm not exaggerating) came running right in front of me. Not only did I move quickly, but I never, ever watched TV in that position again.

The next time I saw a centipede was when my sister and I went to an open house. We were walking around in the basement and Sister opened up a door to a small room. She turned on the light switch and there on the wall was a massive one. I kid you not, at least four inches long and hairy, very hairy. We both screamed and the realtor asked if we had just seen a spider. My reply was, "I wish". I didn't buy that house. I like to think that it was because the kitchen was small and the windows needed replacing and there was no dryer hookup but I know the real reason. I didn't want to share my house with that mondo centipede!

Take care,
Pamela
